While many rappers chronicle the grit of city life, Asher Roth has grabbed widespread attention with his humorous rhymes about collegiate antics and suburbia. It's fitting, then, that the Pennsylvania hip-hop artist was discovered as an undergrad at West Chester University. With middle-class angst, sharp wit and party-on attitude, Roth's rhymes have already proved their appeal to both rap fans and pop audiences alike: his album, "Asleep In The Bread Aisle" debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 this spring.
