Orianthi Panagaris (born January 22, 1985), known mononymously as Orianthi, is an Australian singer-songwriter and guitarist. She is best known for being Michael Jackson's guitarist for his comeback concert series, This Is It. Her debut single "According to You" has peaked at #6 in Australia and #17 in the US, and her debut album Believe was released throughout the last three months of 2009 worldwide.
She played and sang at Jackson's memorial, globally televised live on July 7, 2009. She appears in the film Michael Jackson's This Is It, which chronicles the rehearsals for the tour. Her song "According to You", from the album Believe, was the Single of the Week on iTunes on October 27, 2009, and reached number eight in Australia. She presented an award at the 2009 American Music Awards, which Jackson won posthumously.
She appears on "We Are the World: 25 for Haiti" - with the original co-written and partly performed by Jackson.
She will also feature on a cover of "Stairway to Heaven" on the international re-release of Mary J Blige's Stronger with Each Tear.
