"Live Like We're Dying" is a song recorded by American recording artist Kris Allen. The song is the first single from his self-titled major label debut album, and was released on September 21, 2009. The song was originally recorded by Irish band The Script and was written by Mark Sheehan and Danny O'Donoghue of the band, as well as Phonogenic Records producers/songwriters Andrew Frampton and Steve Kipner.
"Live Like We're Dying" sold nearly 24,000 copies in its first full week of availability and has sold around 1,000,000 copies total. As of November 18, the single landed on the Billboard Pop Songs chart. It also has debuted at number 33 on the New Zealand singles chart, becoming his first charting single in that country. It has since peaked at number 18 there. Also, "Live Like We're Dying" debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 at #89. It fell off the following week, but on the week ending November 21, 2009, it re-entered at #92. It has since peaked at #18 on the issue dated March 13, 2010.
