"Love Lockdown" is a song by American hip hop artist Kanye West. It will be the first single off West's upcoming album 808s & Heartbreak. It will officially go for adds on U.S. CHR/Top 40 radio on October 7, 2008.
Billboard confirmed that "Love Lockdown" sold 213,000 digital downloads in only four full days of release, therefore causing it to debut at #3 on the Hot 100. This is West's highest debut of his career, and the second highest debut on the Hot 100 of 2008. It also made a Hot Shot Debut at number 5 on the Canadian Hot 100.
