Goodies is the debut album by American singer Ciara, released in the United States on September 28, 2004 (see 2004 in music) on LaFace Records and Jive Records.
The album received an internationally released in first quarter of 2005 and has sold over 2.63 million copies in the U.S. It is mostly a combination of laid-back R&B/hip hop songs with catchy pop hooks. Goodies produced four singles: "Goodies", "1, 2 Step", "Oh", and "And I".
Goodies debuted at number three on the Billboard 200, selling over 125, 000 copies in its first week. The album remained the Billboard albums chart for over a year. It was certified triple platinum by the RIAA on October 25, 2006.
Goodies was most successful within the United States. It was a moderately successful internationally such as, Taiwan, New Zealand, and Ireland. The album has sold over five million copies worldwide.
